Rise Up First Generation Student Scholarship

Scholarship Intent: The team at Course Hero recognizes the value and opportunity higher education offers. First generation college students often times have a difficult time finding the necessary funding for their education. In order to increase the chances of these students graduating, Course Hero is offering a $5,000 scholarship to students who are the first in their immediate family to attend college.

Criteria:
- Be the first in your family to attend college
- Be at least 16 years old
- Submit a response to the essay question provided (500 words or less)

Enrollment Requirement: Are currently enrolled full-time or part-time in a two-year or four-year accredited undergraduate or graduate college or university as listed with the U.S. Department of Education website
