Dr. Betz & Dr. Harold Frederick Scholarship

• Natural Sciences major and must be interested in a teaching credential to teach math or science at a K-12 grade level.
• Majors include: Natural Science, Math Education credential path, Biology, Chemistry, Geo-Sciences, Physics
• Student must demonstrate a commitment to their studies as evidence by their grade point average and their involvement in extra circulars activities, such as clubs, athletics and community service.

Dr. Betz Frederick and Dr. Harold Frederick are both graduates of Chico State and were the first in their families to graduate from college. This was made possible through grants and scholarships. They have been involved in education all of their lives. They set up this scholarship to facilitate others like themselves to enter the profession of education.
