Shamans Market Scholarship

Here at Shamans Market, we celebrate students who strive for excellence. Education is a right that everyone should enjoy, regardless of a person’s sexual orientation, gender identity, race, and socioeconomic status. If you’re an openly self-identified BIPOC or member of the LGBTQ+ community, this scholarship opportunity may just help you further your educational journey.

This scholarship will be open to both undergrad and graduate students attending an accredited university within the United States, as well as high school seniors who have been accepted into a university program in the fall of 2021.

The Shamans Market scholarship provides a onetime reward of $1,000 to pay for tuition, books, computers, room and board, or any education-related expense.

Eligibility:
• Must be BIPOC and/or a member of the LGBTQ+ community
• Must be a legal resident of the United States or hold a valid student visa
• Must be currently enrolled in or accepted to a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an accredited US university, college, or school
• Must be 18 years or older

Application:
• 300-word essay answering the question “What daily actions do you take that show your love for the very environment around you?”

• Essays must be sent to scholarships@shamansmarket.com as an attached Word document file, along with the applicant’s full name, address, phone number, school name, and date of birth. Use “Shamans Market $1,000 Scholarship | Full Name” as the attachment file name and subject line.
