Class level junior or senior
Minimum overall gpa 2.5
Must demonstrate potential to succeed in an engineering career.
If equally eligible applicants, the applicant with the greatest financial need is preferred.
Established to provide support and encouragement to local Chicoans pursuing a degree in the College of Engineering, Computer Science and Construction Management at Chico State. Daryl Vanella is a Chico native who graduated from Chico State in 1976 with a BS in Engineering. Mr. Vanella’s family has long been involved in agriculture in the North State. He values his degree and utilizes his engineering background on a daily basis in all facets of his walnut and almond farming business. He and his family have provided scholarship support to students in the College of Agriculture since 1989 via the Jack and Maxine Vanella Scholarship, named for his parents.
