Hans and Mary Lemcke Scholarship

Major: Agriculture, option: Crops, Horticulture, Land Resourse Management (Horticulture, Agronomy).

This scholarship was established by the estate of Hans and Mary Lemcke. Mary Lemcke was a longtime Durham resident, civic leader, freelance journalist, and a founding member of the Chico State University advisory board. In 1964 Mary was named honorary farmer of the FFA. Friends of Mary Lemcke donated funds to establish the Mary Lemcke Camelia Garden located on campus near the creek.
