Anne Burns-Sena Business Information Systems Scholarship
- All majors and options in Business Information Systems Department
- Upper division – continuing junior or senior and transfer
- Minimum 3.2 overall gpa
- Must be active in a student organization recognized by the College of Business.
- Must fully meet criteria or will not be awarded.
This scholarship is intended to reward those students who understand the importance of business information systems and who have chosen this field as their career path.
Anne H. Burns was a 1997 graduate of the College of Business with two majors, Production Operations Management and Management Information Systems. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and was awarded the Outstanding POM Student award upon graduating. She was actively involved in the business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, and was a member in Phi Kappa Phi, Golden Key Honor Society and Phi Eta Sigma. Upon graduation, Anne started as an IT Analyst in the Manufacturing IT organization at Cisco Systems, Inc. Over the next five years, Anne help positions in Production Management and Program Management within Cisco’s Manufacturing organization. Currently Anne hold a Program Management position working to implement next generation portal and analytics applications for Cisco’s Manufacturing organization.
