Robert and Winifred Bain are both educators and are the parents of three adopted children of Native American descent. Robert Bain was a public school teacher and professor of art and education at California State University, Chico for more than 28 years. His areas of expertise were art education, with an emphasis in sculpture and drawing, and art appreciation. He died at the age of 87 on Saturday, May 20, 2000 in Chico. Winifred Bain was a public school teacher and Butte County school coordinator for more than 45 years. Winifred A. Bain passed away 11-4-2000.
