DPMA Sacramento Scholarship

• Major: Business Information Systems .
• Financial need
• New transfer – Must be transferring from a community college in the greater Sacramento or greater Chico area. Student need not complete a degree program at the community college level, but must be in good standing when applying.
• must be a resident of the state of California
• Must join the Chico BIS Society (a student chapter of DPMA), or its successors, and maintain membership while attending CSU, Chico.

In 1996 DPMA changed to the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AIPP)
Data Processing Management Association (DPMA) represents the information processing and computer community. A long-time goal of the chapter has been to provide scholarships for study relating to this field. The board of directors of the chapter established a perpetual scholarship at CSU, Chico in the College of Business. CSU, Chico has the only student chapter in the area. The fund comes from the efforts of many past members over the years and is explicitly to award scholarships. This scholarship will ensure that those funds will always be available for the purpose for which they were intended.
