The Jason/Goosmann family has a strong relationship with Chico State. Kim (Jason) Goosmann worked for Chico State in the late 90s for both Regional and Continuing Education and then EOP while raising children and completing her degree. She received a BA in Social Science from the College of BSS and has gone onto a successful career in Sacramento where she met her husband Bob. Her two children Scott and Kourtney both earned Journalism degrees at Chico State leading to successful careers in the field. The Journalism major means a great deal to all of them as freedom of the press is crucial to a democratic society. Kim has plans to further her Chico State education by pursuing a Master’s degree upon retirement
