Manuel A. and Gloria Esteban President's Scholarship

The President’s Scholars Program is an important part of CSU, Chico’s commitment to the recruitment of highly qualified high school seniors, particularly from the North State. Since 1995, the university has offered selective scholarships to students who will enroll as first-time freshmen.

• $30,000 President’s scholarships ($7,500 per year for four years) will be offered to qualified students

• Majors: all eligible

• First-time freshmen

Minimum qualifications:

• High school GPA 3.5

• 1200 SAT I Reasoning Test score (includes verbal plus mathematics), or a 27 ACT score

• Submission of the university on-line scholarship application ( including at least one letter of recommendation).

• Requires minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 for continuing eligibility each term.
