This scholarship supports students studying journalism and/or telecommunications, including broadcast journalism.

This scholarship was established by Mrs. Weibel-Bramwell in memory of her late husbands A. H. Weibel and A.M. Bramwell both of whom were news editors. Her son and his wife continue her legacy.
