Dr. Chela Mendoza Patterson Scholarship

Recipient shall meet the following criteria:

• Undergraduate
• Demonstrated community service or activism within the Latinx community
• First Generation college student
• Has financial need
• Maintain a min GPA 2.0

Preference shall be given to students in the following order:

• Intent to work in higher education
• Intent to pursue a post-baccalaureate degree
• Bilingual or someone expecting to serve the Spanish speaking communities

The scholarship is to recognize undergraduate students who have achieved academic excellence while demonstrating community service within the Latinx community.
