K. P. Kincade Memorial Scholarship

• Major in the College of Agriculture.
• Must have 60 units completed in good academic standing (junior or senior)
• GPA: 3.0 in major (must be verified by committee, Scholarship Office can only provide cum GPA and Chico GPA)-
• Additionally, the purpose of the scholarship is to encourage students who have the potential to further the viability of California’s bean industry. Therefore, equal preferences shall be given to students who have demonstrated affiliation with the California Warehouse Association and/or the California Bean Shippers Association and/or the Chico Bean Growers and/or related production or support services within the agricultural industry for virtue of research projects, family involvement, internships, employment, or other provable means."

This scholarship was established in 1989 by members of the California Bean Shippers Association in memory of K. P. Kincade.
