Linda Montgomery Brown Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of a nurse, Linda Montgomery Brown, who died in a Care Flight turboprop plane crash. The plane crashed into the Bridgeport Reservoir as they were preparing to land to pick up a patient. Care Flight transports patients from rural Nevada and eastern California to Washoe Medical Center and Saint Mary’s Hospital.
