• Credential Program: K-8 prep.
• Minimum overall gpa 2.5
• First time, Continuing, Transfer
• Must show successful academic achievement to date and strong potential leadership skills.
• Preference for traditionally underrepresented students who are pursuing a teaching credential (namely intending to teach at the K-8 grade level).

Chico State alumn Thor Maydole and his partner Connie Barr, both dedicated educators, established this scholarship to offer support and encouragement to students who demonstrate academic success and leadership potential while pursuing their teaching credential.
