Preference for campus and community involvement
This scholarship was established in the early 1970’s by Raymond Anchordoguy II in memory of his son, Raymond Anchordoguy III. The latter Anchordoguy passed away in 1970 in a plane crash in Tehama County at the age of 25. He was a respected sheepman, beloved family man, friend to many, and a proud graduate of the agriculture program at Chico State. Raymond may have been an average student, but he was extraordinarily active on campus and throughout the community. This scholarship is set up to financially assist students who share Raymond’s love of agriculture and desire to make a difference in their community. AGR-AGR
