The intent is to honor academic achievement and interest in the accounting profession. The scholarship was established in honor of Harry L. Jefferson, CPA, Professor Emeritus in Accounting, and creator of the Department of Accounting. He was a Certified Public Accountant and the first teacher hired for the CSUC Accounting Department of which he served as head of the department for several years. BUS-ACCT
