Edward "Ed" Seagle Scholarship

This is primarily a retention scholarship, although transfer students who meet criteria may be recruitment candidates for this scholarship.

• Major in Recreation, option Resort and Lodging Management

• Minimum of 200 hours experience within the hotel industry.

• Upper division students,

• Minimum overall gpa 2.8.

Ed Seagle has been with the faculty at CSU, Chico since 1976 during which time he has been the internship coordinator for 25+ years. He has been the Therapeutic Recreation coordinator for 20 years and the Resory and Lodging Management coordinator for the past 10 years. The recreation curriculum has developed and matured during that time into one of the most respected recreation programs in the nation.
