  The Howlett’s established this scholarship to provide support and encouragement to students who are committed to high academic achievements in their pursuit of a degree in Electrical Engineering. Jerry Howlett graduated from Chico State in 1962 with a BS in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s degree from San Jose State in 1973. He had a successful career in Silicon Valley in the hard drive and optical disk drive industry. Marilyn also attended Chico State and both grew up in Chico.
